wall leaks. dealing with 10 month to fixed it. issue happend start day one.. 2 year new house. my friend has bedroom roof leaks with 3 year new house. they do not care customer.

These guys give me a cracked countertop I didnt notice in 30 days but after they said we dont change the countertop because you will not tell us on PDI day. After nine months they doesnt fix rest of things like hanging grade or trim cleaning participate crack shelf outside cleaning door locks Im still waiting When they fixed

Taking advantage of people with mental issued

Mr Douglas Levitt and his client Rovesciata estates who own Fieldgate companies Decided after their contractors had caused major damage in the property I was renting to have me evicted under the premise that the property was to be demolished. .

Property is zoned agricultural and Whitby and they bought it for development and were told by the city of Whitney it would be 10 to 12 years before they could develop the land and tear down the property but they still move the head. I lost approximately $20000 worth of furniture and personal it's your impersonal items. Mr. Levitt was acting on be half of this company and we went to the landlord tenant board.

At the time I was suffering from depression Is major anxiety and I was under doctor's care I couldn't make proper decisions I was in bad shape.I went to the court asking for a postponement because of my mental state that I couldn't make proper decisions and Mr. Levitt and his client decline.Mr. Levitt took me outside to talk to me told me you understood my situation and he would do his best to get me a first and last with moving expense. Again I didn't know what decisions to make I can't remember saying anything but I did ask what about the furniture Mr.

Levitt advised me that he would deal with that after he dealt with this with this issue.Mr. Levitt made an offer and I can't remember exactly what I said but I did say I can't deal with this I'm not mentally capable of dealing with this the lawyer who was representing the people there for advice told me that it was wrong what was being done

I went into the courtroom the judges do you accept I didn't even know what I was accepting I just said I want out of here the here. After that we left the court I contacted Mr. Levin on several occasions about the property and the damages you will get back to me about 2 weeks later he advised that this client was not going to pay for the damages .

I end up going to landlord tenant board for my money and they told me to go to small claims court I did and when I got in small claims court they produced a letter I had signed or an agreement I had signed stating that I would not come after them for any other money. Mr. Levitt screwed me he took advantage of my mental situation he took advantage of the condition I was in so beware Mr. Levitt and this company he represents aren't trustworthy.

As of today I'm still trying to get the money for my furniture and losses which was damaged caused by their contractor.

Beware of the unethical procedures teachers the taking advantage of a mental unstable person that Mr. Levitt and the company he represents unknown to do against people like me

35 month new home water leaks from ceiling electric wiring, warranty manager said it is ice-damming. Sure, we are understanding what is ice-damming for new house??? They ignore and refused To inspection interior. They are not takeing customers seriously. I am hiring two companies came to inspection they found two main reason the one is a small leak from roofing shingles but fieldgate inspector said ALL-GOOD. The another reason is 2 roof vents as per 1100 sq ft are smaller than usual??? (Ontario code). The water is build-up from day 1-attic condensation..............

Buyers Remorse

I bought a house in Stouffville. During the sale everyone was so nice, during the décor meetings everyone so very helpful. Once we got the house there have been so many issues with plumbing, with the heating, windows and doors leaking, and the overall quality of materials they used. I was very excited about buying my first new house but it has been a nightmare. When you call then for any issue they are EXTREMELY rude. They wait until you have to go through Trion for all your needs. They closed your house now its your problem not theirs. 2 words to describe my experience is BUYERS REMORSE

I went to book a house and stayed for hours in the cold weather and when my turn came this white guy who was taking the info told me it’s not my turn every time I ask him something he tells not your turn, means he doesn’t want to talk or sell anything to me. It was so embarrassing then told me I’m standing there from so long his boss told him that I should leave, I’m there to buy a house over 1.3 million and he is not interested to talk to me. I want builder to talk to me or call me.

Make sure you apply for compensation for delayed occupancy if applicable. These guys are pros at sneaky work arounds, make millions off upgrades, don't take accountability for their errors, don't return calls, illegally force things without giving you time to consult with a lawyer. Put your hard earned money elsewhere or be stuck with a mess.

Very upset

I bought a house during a sale event and was rushed through it. Since this is my first house i didnt have the basic knowledge that a person who knows about houses would have. I later realized that i did not like the plan and tried to get help from the sales office. They kept stating that it was too bad for me and there was nothing I could do and the deposit amount is taken and they would not return it. Now i am stuck with a house that I dont like and I dont intend on moving into anymore. There is no customet service. We are buying house from the company. The company makes profit from the sales. If this company provides poor customer service then they are going to lose the name. I wanted to get another lot that was not sold yet but the price was a problem for me and I wanted it to be reduced alittle so that I can afford it. These houses are inventory houses, there should be some sort of accomodation that can be made but no one wants to.. i was told good words about Fieldgate which led me to try to get my first house, I will definitely not give praise to this company because I am stuck with something that I do not like. I wanted to move into it but now I am simply gonna have to try to sell it

HI, I was just reading your review. its so bad about how bad builders behave but just thought to give you a pointer if It might help in your situation.

there is something called assignment sale where you can sell the house without even taking the possession of the house or applying for mortgage.

there might be a fees attached to it (since these builders generally charge but a few can waive the fees). hope this helps.

We purchased are new home from Fieldgate five years ago and shingles are flying off my roof when i call them they saying shingles are not covered, talk to your insurance co, TARION is another example of bad corporation that runs by builders they are just for shows be careful when you deal with this builder especially Fieldgate.
